The promotion of community participation in healthy recreation for the benefit of the inhabitants of Southampton and persons living in and around Hampshire by the provision of facilities for kayaking and canoeing.We offer affordable fitness sessions year round for club members. The use of structured fitness regimes also help one be part of the marathon kayaking racing team if they wish to do so.

Southampton Canoe Club WHO ARE WE. Southampton Canoe Club is based on the River Itchen at Woodmill Activity Centre. We coach train and compete in sprint and marathon canoe racing and hold regular taster days and beginners courses for juniors and adults of all ages throughout the year. We often have whole families joining us as well as individuals wanting to try a new sport or training specifically for the Devizes to Westminster race.
