Fundraising,primarily in the Thanet area of Kent, provides the financial support and as a consequence most of the funds are allocated through grants to the local community. Some funds are used to support other projects in UK and wider world where people are in Need.

Thanet Lions currently has 25 members both men and women spanning all age groups from 18 to 85 and covers Margate Broadstairs and Ramsgate in Kent. Every Lions Club supports a range of projects in its local community including health and youth initiatives where you can get involved. Every day Lions are having fun by organising remarkable and memorable fundraising activities with every penny raised going direct to good causes.
