To establish and run a community centre for the benefit of the inhabitants of the civic parish of Legsby and surrounding area for the provision of facilities for recreation including classes, lectures, meetings, of individuals whohave need of such facilities in the interests of social welfare and with the object of improving the conditions for the said inhabitants.

Legsby Old School Community Centre Restoring Legsby Old School as a Community Centre Timeline 2024 the building still stands. This year has been taken up with funding searches emergency repairs to the windows to prevent the elements and wildlife from getting inside. Many volunteer hours have been invested in consultation with builders funders local authorities to get advice on the way forward during these difficult times. The Committee has formed an interesting and valuable connection with academics at Lincoln University who are consulting on necessary docments such as the Heritage Impact Assessment as required by West Lindsey District Council.
