The Ed Kent Trust Supporting young people in Dorset Charity number 1174093 Introduction We set up The Ed Kent Trust in February 2017 in memory of Edward Kent our son and brother. The object of the trust is to raise funds in order to provide grant aid to individuals supporting youth cricket and other sports in Dorset and also to support young percussionists and other musicians in the county. We started awarding grants in 2018 and by December 2024 had made awards to seventyfive young people totaling over 50000 and ranging between 96 and 1000 per grant. We raise funds in various ways normally through events but also through direct donations.
