Improving treatment for sight problems through education research training Home Welcome Formed in 2007 by Ophthalmologists based at Guys St Thomas NHS Foundation Trust the Eyehope Charity is passionate about improving the care of eye disease. We fund research into the causes and treatments of sight loss run national courses for those treating eye conditions and support national and international healthcare professionals with training needs in order to deliver better care. Learn more about us Upcoming Event The 50thTrends in Ophthalmology meeting will take place from the 13th 14th of March 2024 at the Royal Society of Medicine London. This meeting will have a particularly festive and celebratory feel as we will be celebrating not just the 50th anniversary of Trends in Ophthalmology but also75 years since Sir Harold Ridley implanted the first intraocular lens at St Thomas Hospital.
