Young People Community Employers Opportunities RISE Day Blogs More Across the UK more than 790000 young people are currently Not in Employment Education or Training NEET. This is a rise of 23 over the last 2 years and means that 1 in 8 British young people are neither earning or learning. The problem Unsurprisingly young people are feeling increasingly disaffected and disconnected only 1 in 3 think employers are supportive of hiring them and almost half are not confident theyll progress into a good job. This issue causes longterm problems for young people and hurts us all.
