We are a MOD sponsored youth organisation formed in 1901. Open to young persons between the ages of 9 & 16 who can join as a Royal Naval or Royal Marines Cadet. The Volunteer Cadet Corps (VCC) is a Royal Navy sponsored MOD youth organisation formed in 1901 and based in a number of RN establishments around the UK. THE OBJECT OF THE LYMPSTONE DIVISION OF THE RMVCC IS TO HELP AND EDUCATE CHILDREN BETWEEN THE AGES OF 9 AND 18 YEARS THROUGH THEIR LEISURE ACTIVITIES SO AS TO DEVELOP THEIR PHYSICAL, MENTAL AND SOCIAL CAPABILITIES THAT THEY MAY GROW TO FULL MATURITY AS ADULTS AND MEMBERS OF SOCIETY
