Founded in 1953, the annual Hexham Abbey Festival of Music & Arts presents a programme that includes classical music of early to contemporary periods, jazz, folk, world music, improvisation, poetry, film and dance. Next Festival: 25 - 28 September 2025. To provide a festival of music and arts in September/October each year, together with an education project in schools.

Hexham Abbey Festival of Music Arts The Abbey offers a wonderful setting for music and we do hope you will take the opportunity to join us at one of our events. Sign up to our newsletter Dates for your diary This years Festival 2528 September 2025 The Sixteen will be performing their Choral Pilgrimage 2025 at this years Festival on Friday 26 September. Tickets are on sale via their website or through their box office 0333 010 2850. Please note that HAF will not be handling ticket sales for this concert.
