Martha house
Our charitable objects are to relieve poverty and financial hardship among refugees, asylum seekers, migrant workers and their dependents living in London by providing housing, pastoral and practical support. We carry this out through our principle activities: the provision of accommodation in Martha House, and other properties when available; advocacy support and signposting; community building.

Martha house A house of hospitality May 10 2017 by joannafrew1 Comment Martha House is a house of hospitality for asylum seekers refugees and other forced migrants who have become destitute and have no other accommodation options. We provide a safe and welcoming home and try to live as a community sharing meals and making connections in the local area. Once a week we have an open house meal where neighbours guests exguests and other friends can share food and time together. On a Friday we run a community gardening project at the local Quaker meeting house called the Mulberry Tree Community Garden.
