Dignitate Dignity in Dementia Dignitate is a cultural dementia charity devoted to addressing dementia through a culturally sensitive and inclusive approach. Our work focuses on breaking down the barriers that often prevent marginalised communities from accessing the support they need. Our Story After spending 11 years caring for my mother who had vascular dementia I felt compelled to start a charity to help others going through similar situations. Throughout my experience I learned the ins and outs of being a caregiver and found that there were many challenges and difficulties that come with caring for a loved one with dementia.
