Turning young lives around Shared experiences teach us all About Us Who we are The Joseph Trust is a charity providing Alternative Education to children and young people in York and the East Riding of Yorkshire. We have been providing these services since 1998 during which time we have helped hundreds of children and young people. We have a small team of experienced staff who are supported by a number of trained volunteers. Charity number 1196928 What we do We work with young students who are struggling to engage with mainstream education using alternative learning experiences including outdoor activities small animal care horticultural and workshop projects to enable them to gain life skills practical learning and support for them to return to full time education.
