The objects of the CIO are the promotion of community participation in healthy recreation for the benefit of the inhabitants of Bradford on Avon and the surrounding area by the provision of facilities for water sports activities including rowing, canoeing and kayaking.

Welcome to Bradford on Avon Boat Club Bradford on Avon Boat Club is situated on an idyllic stretch of river opposite Barton Farm Country Park and the 14th century Tithe Barn just to the west of the town centre. There is a mile long stretch of river suitable for rowing from the boat club to the weir at Avoncliff. Canoeists are also able to access the stretch of river through the centre of town up to or beyond the Greenland Mills weir. Both the rowing and canoeing sides of the club cater for all ages from Junior to Masters and for all abilities from complete beginner to Olympian.
