United Communities CIO Making Lives Safer We are a new charity which seeks to make lives safer for disadvantaged vulnerable or isolated LGBT people their friends families and close communities. While legal economicand cultural changes in the UK since the 1960s have helped improved equality and freedom for many LGBT peopleLGBT people stillexperience disproportionatelevels of disadvantage and discrimination. At worse people can go back in the closet after a lifetime of freedom and self fulfilment and selfexpression.
