Ukrainian Orthodox Church in Bristol in honour of the Icon of the Mother of God the Quick to Hearken The community of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church in Bristol in honour of the Icon of the Mother of God the Quick to Hearken is one of many Ukrainian parishes founded abroad which includes people who came to the UK after the fullscale invasion of russian troops into the territory of Ukraine as well as those who emigrated to the United Kingdom earlier and established the Ukrainian diaspora . We live in different towns and villages in the UK around the city of Bristol located in the eastern part of England near Wales. Every Sunday we meet as a community to perform the Divine Liturgy communion of the Body and Blood of our Lord Jesus Christ and pray for peace in Ukraine and throughout the world. The Ukrainian Orthodox Church is the historical and traditional Christian church of the Ukrainian people which originates from the Great Baptism of Rus performed by the holy EqualtotheApostles Prince Vladimir in the Dnieper font of glorious Kyiv.
