The **BC Association of Pregnancy Outreach Programs (BCAPOP)** is a registered Canadian charity (Business Registration Number: 821533072RR0001) supporting perinatal health outcomes in British Columbia. Established to address systemic gaps in services for pregnant and parenting individuals, BCAPOP operates through a network of over 70 member programs and collaborates with over 550 perinatal professionals and peers across the province.

### Mission and Activities  
BCAPOP focuses on improving health outcomes for pregnant, postpartum, and newly parenting individuals, particularly those facing systemic barriers. Key initiatives include:  
- **Resource distribution**: Providing prenatal vitamins and educational materials to nonprofit perinatal programs.  
- **Training programs**: Offering specialized education such as the **Perinatal Substance Use 101 Training**, designed to equip professionals with skills to support substance-using parents.  
- **Provincial programs**: Managing initiatives like the **Healthy Care Pregnancy Program**, which bridges care between hospitals and community organizations for individuals using substances.  

### The Pregnancy HUB  
Launched by BCAPOP, The Pregnancy HUB centralizes access to free referrals for local pregnancy outreach programs, peer support, and community resources. It serves as a province-wide platform to connect families with services addressing nutrition, mental health, and substance use support during the perinatal period.

### Governance and Recognition  
As a registered charity, BCAPOP relies on donations and collaborative partnerships to fund its programs. The organization is recognized for its advocacy in reducing disparities in perinatal care, particularly for marginalized communities, including Indigenous families and those experiencing poverty or substance use challenges.
