Welcome to Stepping Stones Childcare. The Alberni Valley Childcare Society has provided a variety of Stepping Stones childcare and early learning programs in Port Alberni for over 30 years. We believe that children learn through play with materials and toys and through interaction with their peers and caregivers. Our Programs Infant Toddler Care 03 yr olds Daycare 30 months to 5 year olds Preschool 3 to 5 year olds Before After School Care MultiAge Program Birth Grade 6 Acknowledgements The Alberni Valley Children Society acknowledges the financial assistance of the Province of British Columbia through a Provincial Gaming grant and 10 a Day ChildCareBC Centres funding The Alberni Valley Childcare Society also acknowledges the City of Port Alberni for providing a number of recreational activities for our children to enjoy through a generous Grant in Aid.
