Overview

The Ottawa Horticultural Society (OHS) is a non-profit organization founded in 1892, dedicated to promoting gardening and horticulture in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. The Society's mission is to cultivate an interest in plants and gardening to create a beautiful community.

The roots of the OHS date back to before the incorporation of Ottawa. An earlier version of the society was organized in 1854 but became dormant by 1859.
