Anishinabe Spiritual Centre Wasseaandimikaaning A place of enlightment for spiritual nourishment growth and healing About the Centre The Jesuits of Canada and Local Indigenous Partners Chart a New Path for Anishinabe Spiritual CentreMontreal Quebec February 4 2025 The Jesuits of Canada are pleased to announce a collaborative decision regarding the future of the Anishinabe Spiritual Centre ASC. We have committed to working with a select group of local Indigenous partnerswho have been actively involved with ASC throughout its historyas well as the local Catholic bishop. Together we are moving towards transferring the Centre to a new governance structure that honours and preserves its Anishinaabe and Catholic identity. Throughout this period of transition ASC will remain fully operational.
