Welcome to the Orthodox Church in St. Johns Newfoundland. Our small parish is a part of the worldwide Eastern Orthodox Church community which includes the Patriarchates of Constantinople Alexandria Antioch Jerusalem Russia Georgia Bulgaria Serbia and Romania as well as the Autocephalous Churches of Cyprus Greece Albania Poland the Czech lands and America. There are over 250 million Eastern Orthodox Christians in the world today of whom half a million live in Canada.
