Galiano Islands overall community safety and fire protection is provided by The South Galiano Volunteer Fire Department and The North Galiano Fire Rescue. The North Galiano Fire Rescue operates throughout the rural Northern Fire Protection Jurisdiction of Galiano Island BC. We are fully trained and certified Medical First Responders and Firefighters and are available on call 247 for our neighbours the community and visitors to our beautiful island. .
