A new Unitarian Fellowship was established in 1950, starting with small, monthly home meetings. Over time, the fellowship grew significantly, and by 1977, the members had acquired a building at 106 Superior Street in the James Bay neighborhood. This allowed for the expansion of their children's religious education programs.

In 1993, the congregation sold the 106 Superior Street building and purchased the current property. Here, they built a new sanctuary to enhance their worship and community activities.
