Partners in Harvest (Canada)

Overview

Partners in Harvest (Canada) is a Christian nonprofit organization registered with the Canada Revenue Agency. The organization primarily focuses on supporting a network of churches and ministries through encouragement, service, training, and counseling for member congregations, pastors, and ministry leaders[1][2].

History and Origins

Partners in Harvest emerged from the Toronto revival that began in 1994 under the ministry of John and Carol Arnott. This movement led to the formation of a global network of churches, educational programs like the International Schools of Ministry, missions initiatives, and events[3].

Mission and Values

The mission of Partners in Harvest is rooted in key values such as:

  • Revealing God's love through Jesus Christ.
  • Fostering intimacy, presence, and listening to God's voice.
  • Restoring hearts and souls.
  • Extending the Kingdom of God through empowerment by the Holy Spirit[3].

This network seeks to bridge denominational, generational, and cultural divides to promote unity and blessings within the global Body of Christ. Unlike traditional hierarchical structures, Partners in Harvest functions as a relational network where member churches and ministries operate autonomously, receiving guidance and support from the leadership when needed[3].

Activities and Impact

Partners in Harvest engages in various activities worldwide, including organizing conferences and providing resources and events to support the growth and development of its member congregations. The organization's leadership offers encouragement, blessings, and a relational support system to enhance the spiritual growth and influence of its members globally[1][3].

Organizational Structure

As a registered Canadian charity, Partners in Harvest (Canada) operates with a business registration number (827149147RR0001). The organization's structure emphasizes collaboration and mutual support among its members rather than a centralized control mechanism[2].

Catch The Fire Partners Learn how you can plant a Catch The Fire Church In April 2019 John Carol Arnott Dan Gwen Slade and Duncan Kate Smith made the decision to integrate the two ministries Catch The Fire and Partners in Harvest. Essentially Catch The Fire and Partners in Harvest shared a common vision. Both streams had the same spiritual heritage having the same spiritual parents. There were a few organizational differences but structures need to serve the vision.
