The Children We Help Funding a Britannia students camp at Elphinstone Our Mission The SCL Children39s Fund is dedicated to improving the education health and welfare of children. The Foundation was originally founded and named in honour of Madame Soong Ching Ling 18931981 who received international acclaim for her tireless efforts to better the lives of Chinas children. Since its creation in 1981 the Foundation has evolved in recent years to focus mainly on the needs of children in Canada while still supporting some childrens programs in China.
