Our: team of allied health therapy staff provided personalised vision support to people living with low or no vision to live the life they want, with confidence. Across WA and Tasmania, 3,873 people accessed over 77,000 hours of services. KITES (kids in their early stages) provided therapy solutions for children with disability or development delay, and delivered over 10,700 hours of therapy services, including dog assisted therapy. It provides a toy library, loaning over 3,400 items in WA. Guide Dogs services enable people who are blind or vision impaired to be safe and independent in their communities. We supported over 150 clients with their working dogs across WA and Tasmania and injected 16 new puppies into the program. Specialist Services supported: people with disabilities via employment programs and a nonprint library service; the broader community via access consultancy for: improved facilities and services; transcription of information in accessible formats; conversion of documents into Easy English; Training and workshops for access barrier mitigation.
