The ELM Network – Every Life Matters – suicide prevention and awareness in Mt Alexander
We're a suicide prevention and awareness network in Mount Alexander, formed in late 2016. We formed a Working Group and set up a Safe Space in Castlemaine staffed by trained peer volunteers with lived experience of emotional distress. The Safe Space is a dropin center for anyone experiencing loneliness, emotional distress or suicidality.

We are community members and service providers who have been impacted by suicide who are passionate about mental health promotion and suicide prevention and who want to strengthen the community we live in. We aim to Keep up to date with what were up to on our facebook page here. This page does not provide a counselling or support service and we are not set up to respond to anyone who might be experiencing a crisis in their lives.
