Baptcare Ltd

Baptcare Ltd is an Australian faith-based non-profit organisation dedicated to providing support, care, and residential services, primarily to the elderly, children, families, people with disabilities, and asylum seekers. Founded in 1945 by a group of Baptist women in Victoria, Baptcare has since grown into one of the largest aged care and welfare providers in the country, with a significant presence in Victoria and Tasmania and expansion across multiple Australian states and territories.

The origins of Baptcare trace back to 1945 when Baptist women came together to raise funds and provide community support. Since then, the organisation has evolved to meet the diverse and changing needs of the communities it serves while maintaining its foundation in Baptist faith and values, emphasizing respect for individuality, diversity, and inclusion.
