The Melbourne Indigenous Transition School (MITS) is a school and boarding program on Wurundjeri Country for Indigenous students from remote and regional communities across the NT and Victoria. Each year, 22 Year 7 students attend our Year 78 transition classroom down at the Richmond Football Club's Punt Road Oval and live in our Richmond Hill boarding houses. Upon completing MITS at Year 8, students transition into one of our 13 Melbourne Schools for their remaining high school years. The majority of students continue to live with MITS in our Richmond Hill boarding houses, forming a connected community of Indigenous high school students right in the heart of Melbourne.
