Mission to Seafarers Brisbane
Mission to Seafarers provides welfare, pastoral & spiritual support in the Port of Brisbane Our Charity has provided year round physical and emotional health and wellbeing services along with social support for seafarers (ship's crew members) visiting Port of Brisbane. The provision of these services enables seafarers to access a range of activities and support that they do not normally have access to, given the significant isolation from their family and friends while on their contract. Contracts for seafarers require them to be away from home in an isolated and challenging working and living environment for periods up to 11 months.

The Seafarers Centre at Fisherman Islands Open Hours Shop Online The online shop and chaplaincy services are still available on request via The Mission The Mission to Seafarers provides welfare pastoral and spiritual support to over 10000 seafarers each year on ships in the Port of Brisbane at the Seafarers Centre and Flying Angel Club located on Fisherman Islands port precinct and as needed at hospitals and other venues.
