John 1010 Melbourne Overseas Missions MOM is a humanitarian organisation founded in 1968 by Cardinal James Knox to provide assistance to developing countries as an outreach of the Catholic Church community in the Archdiocese of Melbourne. MOM programs are based on a Christian motivation of commitment to the poor with strong objectives to encourage selfhelp and selfreliance respect human rights and enhance gender equality. MOM development projects are available to all sectors of the recipient community.
