We assist disadvantaged communities, low income households, shelters, disabled orphans and provide resources for their education. Friends, family and donors contribute to the charity. Since 2011 we have been conducting annual trips to Vietnam to carry out these activities in collaboration with local partners. By attending in person we reduce administrative overheads to ensure that the charity s money is used to support those most in need. This direct support is often provided to the women in the local communities. Local volunteers, primarily nuns, monks and students, assist in running projects that are designed to develop and strengthen the social and economic standing of their communities. Instead of providing cash handouts, we focus on funding projects that provide livestock for villages, school supplies for children, and food and medicine.
