PAA operates the Inmate Property Services (IPS) by contract, for Corrective Services NSW, collecting, storing and returning approximately one cubic metre of personal possessions for people remanded or sentenced to fulltime imprisonment. PAA also operates a social enterprise called Mates on the Move (MOTM) which employs people with lived experience of the criminal justice system. MOTM has transitioned away from furniture and office removals into restricted waste management services. PAA has redesigned its Mates for Life community reintegration course and will be offering it again to former prisoners in 2023. These enterprises and services help former prisoners retain some possessions and gain knowledge and skills to assist in their reintegration to community living.
