The organisation a. Supports a feminist philosophy and understands that domestic and family violence is a gendered issue. b. Ensures that women and children impacted by domestic and family violence have access to specialist services and resources. c. Elevates the voice of victim survivors and ensure their learnt experience informs the response to domestic and family violence. d. Values and respects the strength of First Nations women and hears from their experiences about how best to support and end to domestic and family violence. e. It provides strong leadership in the sector and foster collaboration and integration with other services and networks in the interests of victim survivors. f. Fearlessly advocates for system, structural and societal change to enable women and children to live free from domestic and family violence. g. Shifts perceptions and views about what domestic and family violence is, how it can be eliminated and how to take action. h. Raises consciousness and effects change amongst men who use violence and abuse in their relationships.
