Torquay Marine Rescue Service The Torquay Marine Rescue Service TMRS is a volunteer organisation located at Fishermans Beach on the Surfcoast in Victoria Australia. TMRS was founded on the 1st of October 1984 by local residents and has since developed a reputation as a very competent and professional rescue service. This reputation is a testament to the volunteers who dedicate their time to the rescue service as well as those who support the organisation including partners and sponsors. TMRS works closely with the neighboring Surfcoast Marine Rescue Services as well as the Victoria Police and the Rescue Helicopter Service.
