Queanbeyan BaptisT Church Home About Us Activities Community Contact More Life Resources Centre Community resources for real people The Life Resources Centre is an Incorporated Association controlled by Queanbeyan Baptist Church created to facilitate community development initiatives in our local community. In its history it has conducted Suicide Prevention Intervention programs Suicide Prevention Education courses Professional Counselling Services in Queanbeyan the ACT and on the NSW South Coast Created Community Gardens as a vehicle for mentoring young people Facilitated a large interagency meeting known as the Community Support Forum to foster strong networks and working cooperation between agencies within the city. We work closely alongside many agencies both NGOs and government based organisations and have auspiced a number of projects on behalf of interagency groups in the Queanbeyan Community. At present LRC is involved in two major projects which routinely require us to use these connections to obtain appropriate support for peoples needs and to receive referrals from those agencies for people whom we are equipped to help Nurturing Womanhood Nurturing Womanhood is a self esteem building program for women and their pre school age children where applicable who may be facing difficulties from a range of different sources.
