During 2021/22 CHA works on behalf of Catholic health, aged care and community care services to advance health, social and public welfare as the national advocate for the healing Ministry of the Catholic Church in Australia. By supporting service capacity and promoting the Catholic identity of Catholic health and aged care services, CHA has in 2021/22 contributed to the fulfillment of the Mission of the Catholic Church. Through policy development and advocacy, CHA has helped our members fulfil their mission of caring for the sick and vulnerable. Collectively our members deliver $66 million inservices back to the community through more than 100 social outreach programs both here in Australia and in the region. Every day to further their mission Catholic hospitals are providing on average material, staffing and facilities to the value of $181,000 a day.
