MNC is a welcoming, multifunctional community space in the heart of Maleny, that provides opportunities for community connection and well being for young people, families and the broader community. We provide emergency relief and community lunches We support initiatives for affordable accommodation & Disaster Mangement We provide other resources and services to the community such as hosting JPs and free counselling services We run a Youth Engagement Program focusing on Creative Arts Therapy & Wellbeing. This runs from the Maleny SHS Flexi School, who operate from our building We provide social connection through regular activities such as making rooms and spaces available for community members and groups to meet, such as Fixit café, annual free Christmas Day Breakfast, along with a multitude of varied community events Our focus also includes auspiced groups with focus areas on domestic violence (Speak Up Now Against Domestic Violence), environment (Waste Action Maleny WAM), Death & Dying (TULE), education support, and various others We are also interested in growing our relationship and number of events with the local indigenous Jinibara & Gubbi Gubbi people
