Coffs Harbour Regional Landcare is an incorporated, not-for-profit community group, acting as the umbrella group for over 35 land-caring groups. Coffs Harbour Regional Landcare (CHRL) is an incorporatred notforprofit community organisation acting as an umbrella group for volunteers working at 42 bush regeneration sites in the Coffs Harbour Local Government Area. Membership of CHRL is open to everyone and the organisation is managed by an elected volunteer executive committee. Volunteers work on coastal sites within the Coffs Coast regional Park, on council reserves or other public land managed by the National Parks and Wildlife Service, by Coffs Harbour City Council or by NSW Crown Lands. Additional projects complement the volunteer work on designated Landcare sites, improving land management practices and wildlife habitat, creating resources, propagating local native species and building partnerships in support of organisations, landholders and community and Aboriginal community, to improve and protect our natural environment.
