We believe that Gaia created Earth, which is a sacred place, where all life has evolved to live in rhythm with the seasons. Our seasonal celebrations follow an annual calendar based on the natural cycles of the Earth, and includes the solstices and equinoxes, and European harvest festivals adapted to Australia. They celebrate the peaks and troughs of life throughout the year, and tune us into our place in the biosphere. At each of the seasonal celebrations, we honour the Goddess through spiritual ceremonies to create sacred space. We sing and dance to bring Gaia into our sacred space and offer her prayers and thanks. We share the wisdom of the time of year, how it influences our lives, and our hopes and plans. We close with sharing food, and giving thanks for her bounty. These celebrations allow us to come together as a supportive community and express and embody our beliefs. There are three main themes covered at the Temple spirituality, ecology and action, and our workshops aim to cover any or all of these. The workshops are active, educational and contemplative.
