Inland Rivers Network

IRN continued to progress a shared vision for an environmentally sustainable Murray Darling Basin. We have participated in many meetings and functions organised by the Murray Darling Basin Authority and by the NSW Dept. of Planning, Industry and EnvironmentWater Division regarding implementation of the Basin Plan. Our most recent focus has been on the assessment of Floodplain Harvesting and proposals for new dams in NSW Basin rivers. We continue to advocate for healthy rivers through the media and engagement with regional communities amongst many other achievements.
