Westgate Biodiversity: Bili Nursery & Landcare Inc. resumed its work on revegetating Westgate Park and removing weed species. We undertook citizen science projects which have improved habitat for indigenous fauna, eg 'Hollows for habitat' nesting boxes with benefits for microbats and 4 specific bird species and propagation of salt marsh plant species for use around the salt lake. Bili Nursery propagated ~180,000 indigenous plants of the Melbourne region for use by local government, the Port of Melbourne, organisations and citizenship ceremonies. Volunteers provided ~8,000 hours of work at Westgate Park and at Bili Nursery.
