For 12-17 year olds. Based at Mandurah SES UNIT, our cadet group offers training on various SES and 1st aid skills, leadership and community volunteering. To work with the community for a safer Western Australia through the delivery of timely, quality and effective emergency services. The functions of the entity are to perform those functions authorised under the Fire and Emergency Services Act 1998. These include: To raise, train and equip an effective volunteer based emergency service; To be the Hazard Management Agency for flood, cyclone, storm, tsunami and earthquake; To be a Combat Agency for land search. Act in a support role for other combat agencies; Support emergency management activities at a State, regional and local level; And act in support of Police in tasks acceptable to the volunteer's, but excluding those where it is likely that offenders will be present.
