West Australian Association of Polish Women Inc

Additionally, from 1981 to 1998, it employed a Grant-In-Aid worker funded by the Department of Immigration to assist the Polish community with settlement issues[1].

Today, the Association provides relief from hardship, offering care and support services for seniors from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds. These services include organizing social events and promoting the right of disadvantaged people to live at home with dignity, connected to their families and communities[2][4].

Achievements and Milestones

In 2009, the Association celebrated its 40th anniversary with a gala dinner and the publication of “Courage and Faith,” a compilation documenting its achievements over the previous four decades[1]. This milestone highlighted the organization's dedication to serving diverse communities over five decades.
