Books For Lesotho – An Adelaide-based non-profit organisation dedicated to developing libraries for the schools of Lesotho
An Adelaide-based NGO dedicated to developing libraries in schools in the Kingdom of Lesotho We assist children in disadvantaged schools in the Kingdom of Lesotho; by enhancing their educational outcomes and as a result alleviate poverty. The organisation also assists in building the national educational standards in the Kingdom of Lesotho. Books and other educational materials are collected, sorted, dispatched, ready for distribution in the Kingdom of Lesotho to increase the literacy, numeracy, and social knowledge and skills.

It is our dream to see a library in every one of these schools. Purpose of the books The books we send are intended to encourage a nonreader to pick up a book and want to start reading. The range of content encourages readers to advance to higher levels of reading and comprehension.
