Down Syndrome Queensland s mission is to provide practical information, support and advocacy to people with Down syndrome and their families and support networks, now and for their future. We are the leaders on all things Down syndrome in Queensland. We aim to support, advocate and empower people with Down syndrome to take their rightful places as valuable and contributing members of their communities.

07 3356 6655 Supporting advocating for empowering DSQ is the peak body for people with intellectual disability in Queensland People with an intellectual disability have the same human rights as everyone else. This is supported by the United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities. People with intellectual disability deserve quality education health care that meets their needs fulfilling work genuine friendships a place to call home and active involvement in their community. Our mission is to support advocate for and empower people with intellectual disabilities to reach their goals and be included in their community.
