Sister Janet Meads Adelaide Day Centre for Homeless is a notforprofit organisation committed since 1985 to the welfare and care of all people in need. Staffed by a dedicated community of professionals and volunteers we provide purposeful activities and companionship to eligible isolated adults. We also give food and support to those struggling with homelessness who cannot advocate for themselves. The Centre off Moore Street Adelaide was founded by Sisters Janet Mead and Anne Gregory from Sisters of Mercy to be a community for the disadvantaged who can join in gardening and producing crafts and food services to give to others in need in our society.
