The Friends of TMAG committee presents a wide range of programs and events which encourages engagement with the museum by our members and the wider community. We endeavour to bring together likeminded people who enjoy learning about new things. We offer insights into exhibitions, the sciences and arts, both onsite and further afield. This enables us to support the museum by donating funds to assist with purchases of needed items.

The Friends of the Tasmanian Museum and Art Gallery was founded back in 1982. We assist TMAG in whatever way we can. Each year we present a varied program of events to bring people through the doors.
