Newport Railway Museum opened regularly to the public, with our volunteers presenting our exhibits to visitors and explaining the part they played in Victoria's railway history. We also continued our work to archive important railway records and photographs, and our works team continued their efforts to restore historic rolling stock. Significantly, the museum did extensive preparatory work for the extension of our main roof canopy, which will enable several more rail vehicles in our collection to be housed out of the weather. We expect this project to get underway in 2023.
