TMSG provides settlement support to refugees and migrants, promoting socially inclusive services and activities within Townsville, convening and participating in community strategic planning and collaboration with many services to ensure culturally capable service delivery for migrants and refugee communities, including women and youth; support for training and employment; linking volunteers to assist social integration of migrants and refugees; support and access to mental health; facilitation of access by CALD communities to the NDIS and advice and support to CALD victims of domestic violence; facilitation of access to sports and recreation activities for CALD youth.
