We offer financial assistance to individuals struggling on their cancer journey. I would like to express my gratitude to Uniserve for Cancer a charity organisation that provides assistance for patients with cancer and their families navigating complex financial challenges associated with their diagnosis and treatment. As an early phase trials medical oncologist based in Darlinghurst Sydney a high proportion of my patients are from regionalruraldisadvantaged backgrounds with limited financial means to access treatment where it is not PBS reimbursed and timely access to suitable clinical trial or speedy molecular testing when their cancer is rapidly progressing is difficult.
