Celebrate Messiah Ltd

Celebrate Messiah Ltd is an Australian non-profit organisation dedicated to sharing the Gospel with Jewish people. The organisation operates under the belief that Yeshua (Jesus) is the promised Messiah in the Tanakh, also known as the Old Testament.

History and Founding

Celebrate Messiah was founded in 1995 by Lawrence and Louise Hirsch, initially focusing on outreach to the Jewish community in Melbourne. Over time, it expanded its operations through a partnership with Chosen People Ministries, which began in 2000.

Mission and Activities

The mission of Celebrate Messiah is centered on giving all Jewish people the opportunity to hear, understand, and follow Yeshua, whom they consider the promised Messiah. This is achieved through various activities, including evangelism and educational programs. The organisation also supports messianic congregations across Australia, such as Beit HaMashiach in Melbourne, Beit Shalom in Sydney, and Hineh Yeshua in Canberra.

Organisational Structure

Celebrate Messiah is accountable to a Board of Directors and a Board of Reference, consisting of clergy and lay persons from multiple denominations. The organisation is funded by donations from individuals and churches that share its mission.

Global Outreach

Beyond Australia, Celebrate Messiah is part of a network that spans 23 countries, working together with Chosen People Ministries. This global partnership enables a broader reach in sharing the Gospel with Jewish communities worldwide.

Supporting Jewish Believers

In addition to evangelism, Celebrate Messiah focuses on encouraging and empowering Jewish believers. It provides support through various programs aimed at integrating the Jewishness of the Gospel into educational and spiritual activities.
